Best of the Broke 2011, Part 2

As promised, we're going to conclude our little walk down memory lane today with more of our favorite BGG moments of 2011. We'd love it if you'd leave comments below on what you'd like to see more of in 2012. We can't wait!

To begin with, Broke Girl's Guide Co-Founder Michelle had a beautiful baby girl. Mazel Tov, Michelle! We can't wait to get her typing...

For a couple of weeks, we humiliated ourselves by hosting the BGG weekly show on Stylehaul. Then, we wisened up and hired hottie Tayrn Southern to host. We had such a fun time making all of these videos! 

Most days we live in our pajamas, but we do like to leave the house from time to time, and to do so respectably, we drew inspiration from Nicole Richie, Rachel Bilson, Miranda Kerr, Taylor Swift, and Amy Adams.

And speaking of celebrities, we sat down with the likes of Maria Menounos, Giuliana Rancic, and Christian Siriano this year to discuss everything from budget beauty to savvy shoe shopping.

In terms of interviews, we also snagged the advice of stylist-to-the-stars Christine Symonds, People Magazine editor Aili Nahas, Hollywood party planner Ally B, artist Parvez Taj, a really sexy French guy, the health nut behind Green Girl LA, Vogue Magazine's favorite Pilates instructor in the entire nation, and a writer for the show that stole our thunder, 2 Broke Girls. 

We bid you adieu as we sent you off to Red Hook, Portland, NYC, Miami, and Austin. 

We fattened you up with some decadent recipes (1 and 2), and then slimmed you down with some healthy salads and a bunch of free workouts around town. We also offered you mega discounts on juice cleanses and vegan home delivery. 

And finally (though we could continue for some time), we gave you lists of the best pools in LA and the best sports bars in town. We also helped you up your art savvy and had some fun showing you how to date in LA without needing therapy. As we're not all cynical all the time, we also gave you a fairy tale day out in LA, which is a quirky, upbeat little piece we'll leave you with today.
