Broke Girl's Guide is celebrating National Yoga Month with special features throughout September on yoga and fitness, mindful eating, and wellness - all with an affordable twist, of course. Here's how to get limber, improve (or start!) your practice, and score a few freebies on the way.

 

We'd like to start the Broke Girl's Guide to National Yoga Month with the traditional Sanskrit salutation - namaste. And while we wish with one word we could channel endless zen, with all due respect, the spirit in me is better able to salute the spirit in you when it doesn't involve surrendering a day's pay for a single class. Therein lies the great paradox of practicing yoga: It can be damn expensive, which means the stress-relieving becomes the stress-inducing. Not cool.
