Giveaway [Closed]: Win Yoga Pants & Tank From Light a Fire Movement
Tell us if this rings true: Finding high quality, beautiful, and affordable active wear is harder than the workouts you do while wearing them.
Lululemon is fine – if you’re very confident about your derriere and willing to plunk down upwards of $100 per pair of yoga pants. But we also aren’t interested in the neon brights and one-wash life spans of the discount options, either.
Enter Light a Fire Movement. Situated comfortably at the intersection of functionality and high design, the LA-based line specializes in hand-made, small-batch clothing for the flow arts, from yoga to dance to aerial arts. Besides being gorgeous, at around $40 per piece, they’re also totally affordable.
The ladies behind the line were friends before launching Light a Fire Movement. Remy Holwick brought design chops from a career as a fashion model as well as a personal clothing line, while Jennifer Ong contributed the creative direction from her passion for flow arts (she doubles up as a hula hooping instructor).
Designed in a workshop in West Adams and produced by hand in Downtown LA, Light a Fire Movement is most definitely a "homespun process," as Holwick put it.
"We want to appeal to women beyond the gym, who find their workout passion outside of the traditional class,” explained Holwick. "Our line is there to support that."
The duo will be debuting the collection at an upcoming trunk show with Yoga Works on October 15 in Tarzana, but in the meantime you can enter to win a complete look from the line, exclusively from Broke Girl’s Guide and StyleHaul.
