BGG Weekender: Father’s Day Freebies, Marshmallow Ramen, & Absinthe Popsicles

Don’t get us wrong, America is great and all...but we find ourselves wishing more often than not these days that we lived in a country with mandatory month-long vacations. Are you all feeling the burnout as badly as we are lately?

On the brightside of things, at least we’ve nearly made it to the weekend. And while two days of freedom doesn't hold a candle to thirty, we’ve packed as much fun into them as we possibly could. Before we delve into our day-by-day itinerary, though, we’d like to alert you to a few things that you can take advantage of at any point this weekend. 

The first batch involves fitness deals; Pop Physique and Hot 8 Yoga are both offering deals via Gilt City, and Fitness Is Art has advised us that they’re currently offering 5 classes for $40, 10 classes for $80, and unlimited monthly classes for nearly $100 off the normal price. We’re curious to try their facial fitness classes, as we don’t exactly have the dough to go out and get fancy with our anti-aging treatments.

The other thing you should keep in mind for the weekend is that the LA Film Festival is ongoing, as is the LA Fringe Fest. You can also, if you so choose, hike it out to Coachella Valley for the AMFM Fest (art, music, film, & more).
