BGG Weekender: Chocolate & Art, Secrets & Truth, and Puppies & Kittens

While we are normally happy to have left the terrible haircuts, awkward encounters with boys, and bad skin of our youth in the past, the summer is certainly not one of those times. How is it fair that teenagers and college kids--with their boundless energy--get three whole months off, whereas we working stiffs get little more than a three-day weekend here and there?

Our only options for coping, clearly, are (A) moving to France or (B) making the very most possible of each and every weekend. Since our knowledge of French is about as extensive as our knowledge of Swahili (i.e., nonexistent), it looks like we'll have to settle on the latter option for now. With all of LA's best vintage boutiques to explore, the School of Style happening downtown, and more, we really don't have too much to complain about as far as this weekend is concerned!
