Sometimes, we wish we were still in college. Okay fine, we pretty much always wish we were still in college. Who can complain about four years of keggers, foolish mistakes, and the ability to non-ironically attend parties with names like “CEO’s & Corporate Ho’s” and “Snowpants or No Pants?” Also, our inner dorks are not ashamed to admit that we genuinely loved the opportunity to take classes and learn about topics that appealed to us. While in retrospect we do wish we had substituted a few business courses for some not-so-useful (but certainly enjoyable) courses like Egyptology and the History of Surfing, we likely wouldn't be running a website about being broke in that case, so perhaps it all works out for a reason.

Okay, enough rambly reminiscing. The reason we are pouring our hearts out to you about our love of learning is that we’ve recently been introduced to a wonderful new website called Skilloop, which serves as an online marketplace for offline lessons and uncommon life experiences. And no, you will not have to take out another college loan (shudder), as these lessons are all super affordable, ranging from around $25 to $100. While Egyptology and the History of Surfing are not offered as choices on Skilloop (alas!), we were thrilled to find plenty of useful AND fun options, including lessons on self defense, boomerang-throwing, ashtanga yoga, bass guitar, dog-training, horseback riding, editing on Final Cut, and becoming a DJ.
