Bottomless Mimosas at Taste

There are certain phrases that inevitably perk up our ears – “open bar,” “buy one get one free,” “eligible bachelor,” “zero calories,” “free coffee”….  Another one, naturally, is the siren song of “bottomless mimosas.”  Hence our decision to sample the brunch at Taste on Melrose, the proud home of “$13 bottomless mimosas.” We have never met a mimosa that we did not like, so we always rest assured that we will get our money’s worth (and then some out of the bottomless ones).  While you’re there, we also recommend that you try Taste’s affordable fixed price brunch menus, such as the $16 menu that includes a pastry basket and your choice of breakfast panini, cobb frittata, or brioche French toast.  If you’re really starving, you can go with the $25 fixed price menu, which consists of a pastry basket; your choice of Southwest scramble, crab cake benedict, black forest ham & cheese omelet; and a dessert such as the brioche French toast.  But…you could always just show up for the $13 bottomless mimosas.  We won’t judge.
