Best of the Broke: 2011, Part 1

2011 has been an amazing year -- the launch of Broke Girl's Guide has been such an incredible experience for us (and you too, we hope!).  We're just getting started, so we can't wait to see what 2012 brings. Before we ring in the new year, though, let's take a look back at some of our favorite Broke Girl's Guide moments thus far:

Remember when we were on KTLA? Terrifying.

We can't help but get misty-eyed while reminiscing on our love affairs with Ryan Gosling and Jason Segel (and Hello Giggles...and Hello Giggles' Founder Sophia Rossi).

Then there was the time our beautiful Stylehaul host Taryn Southern taught us how to travel hack (fly first class for free!)...and then she did it again...and again

We loved it when Eater LA Editor Kat Odell gave us 5 Pastas to Splurge on Before We Die, The Best Underground Eats in LA (Parts 1 & 2), and The 4 Best Broke-Girl-Friendly restaurants to open in 2011.

We were sad to see you go when we sent you packing to the nearby oases of Ojai, San Clemente, and Malibu

Wasn't it fun when we gave away thousands of dollars to HauteLook, Gilt City, Send the Trend, and more? Or what about that time we gave you guys a chance win a couch from Apt2b?

Or what about the time when over 700 of you RSVP'ed for our event with Spaphile.com and InternQueen.com? You also turned out to meet Whitney Port a few weeks back, remember?  Way back in June, we all had a blast at our launch party at Em & Co., no?

You all seemed to enjoy our weekender itineraries every Thursday, but you really loved our Parisian Day Out. You were also quite fond of our Classic Hollywood Day Out.

We could go on and on, but we're so sad to see the year go that we're going to drag this process out over two days. What's been your favorite BGG moment?
