It's no secret that we're obsessed with travel, and that our biggest goal in life is to visit, and/or live, in as many places as humanly possible. So when Charli Moore of Wanderlusters reached out to see if we'd be interested in learning more about how she stays all over the world FOR FREE, we responded with an emphatic "yes!" Here, her firsthand insight into the world of global house sitting: 

Like millions of broke girls the world over, you might be asking yourself... How can I travel the world, immerse myself in local cultures, and live like a local, all without having a massive trust fund at my disposal?

The answer? House sitting. Becoming a trusted house sitter allows you to apply for assignments all over the world, and it affords you the opportunity to experience life in far-flung locations that you may otherwise have overlooked. Since my first assignment over two years ago, I’ve looked after a three-story townhouse in Vancouver, learnt the basics of macadamia farming on a property in Australia, and tried my hand at lifestyle farming in New Zealand. I’ve also lived in one of the most exclusive suburbs on Sydney’s North Shore, and I've cared for a luxury home in the jungles of Central America. 

None of these accommodations cost me a dime.
